I used triggers to apply it. Oddly enough, it worked. I did not change anything. I am not quite sure if this counts as a solution...I would prefer to use the data method since it's more stable.

textures can't be added with data or triggers, you need to edit the model to make new textures. However if you already have a texture you can just edit it and put it in for the model. I think the file order is this: Modelname(folder): Model.m3, Assets(folder): Texture.dds
Go to movers, change it from fly to ground/walk (I do not exactly remember what it is called). If necessary, change unit height to 0. Make sure to change collision from flying to ground too.
I made several weapon items that a hero can equip. A hero can equip more than one weapon. When it is moving, all of the weapons fire. When it is stationary, only one fires. However, it seems that the weapon based off of the void ray and the sentry's disruption beam both fire while the unit is stationary. What can I do to make all my weapons fire while stationary, not just the one or two?
Bonus question: Is it possible to make weapons stack (equip more than one and have both work, rather than just one)

But they all have a slot set if you look at earlier screenshots (main slot)
Is there a reason why it won't show in game or editor unless I do the trigger?

However, I don't know how to add the texture to the model. What would be the best time effective way?
edit: I use a mac, so the MPQ editor is not an option.

What about the stone zealot air attack? I tried giving it to a unit but the animation disappeared entirely.
