    I was going to make one place for each race to worthship, but bummed out halfway through so just made a neet looking dead overmind where all the zerglings gather to say the greefs! and then a half arsed church, which would be the most obvious choice for terrans to worthship since not having a cool protoss pewpew culture

    thanks for the comment and your thoughts. I do agree with you on pretty much all you say and I do value balance issues as a top priority. I might remove some of the choke points though, since they are giving the melee units an upper hand in our mod due to their abilities >:D But without knowing about it I do agree with you and will remember the things you have pointed out.

    I liked the trainstation and zerg pens the most tbh :D the others are just to messy and tight, it really gives alot better effects if you just leave some doodads near the walls and make some good texturing. It gives a nice feel of having space to operate aswell as not looking super bombed with doodads. Then you can spare some of the doodads and use them on another place :D

    not that havoc and many doodads/details isn't nice, it is just really hard to make somethig that looks really good. they all have to have same theme coloring etc to accually look good. If not everything will just look horrible imo. (yeah the starting point does a bit) - however if the theme of your map truely is utterly chaos then I guess it suits the theme fine, though I sure wonder where all that crap came from >:D

    My that is just me imo'ing. my advice would be to go less hardcore with the doodads and focus on a fewer and make them look great.

    ps. nice to see that there still are some that are adding alot of details into their maps ^^

    it is for a 3vs3 hero/unit battle with siegetanks shops xp farming and the whole bundle - no building >:D

    But it would appear it is a battle between adun and symbiosis. Only need one map to start with, the rest of the maps I create for the project ill most likely throw up for everybody else to use :P

    As my team is making our way towards the final stages of our project we need a map to use for our first release. I have been working on a couple but cannot quite decide which one to choose of theise three for the release. So I'll ask you what map you think looks like a map you want to do battle in, possibly some critic / suggestions if you got the time. Since we cannot do polls afaik then please leave an answer with what you think would be best. Much appriciated!

    Here are the three options:

    Symbiosis:

    posted a message on Easiest way to mirror a map/Advised amount of space at expansions?

    @Silverstryke: Go

    go under change height and push escape so you are not making any hills. click and drag as if you were to select multiple units at once. when you have dragged the terrain you need copied, release the mouse and hit ctrl+c. You can then ctrl+v to paste it.

    then go to edit -> rotate or use the following bindings: numpad / = 90* counterclockwise. numpad * = 90* clockwise. numpad . = 180 turn.

    When you have copied the terrain just do the same with your doodads and units. (make sure you know atleast one doodad/unit you know where is suppose to be, so you can see excatly where to place them accordingly with the terrain.

    posted a message on Unburrowing Hostile CPU Units

    You are excluding hidding, if they are burrowed, they are hidden, you might want to uncheck that one

    orh well..

    you might have to pick unit group first, and then do the order now when I think about it
