There is a Tauren Marine hiding in on the edge of a cliff on that mission where you fend off the Zerg for 30 minutes or whatever. He disappears once you get too close.
Actually that picture is showing "Featured" maps, which are simply the most popular maps. Those aren't the last 2 published maps, and I'm not really sure where you got that idea from. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but it wouldn't be a very extensive list, unless you can narrow your search.
Additionally, I think rating would be a bonus, as well as commenting if the publisher allows it at least.
At the very least, I think a search function is essential. Using YouTube as an example again, nobody would be able to find videos if they could not search and were only able to see popular videos, regardless if a couple recently uploaded videos were featured.
All they need to do is add the ability to see recently hosted maps, a search function, and tags for published maps so that you can search for maps by their names and tags and even genre with the search function.
Can i make a game with a set of textures and only one (the same) model? For me it seems impossible since bitmap is assigned in material editor back in max.
Apply Global Texture Group might be a trigger you want to look at. Also Editor Texture Expressions under Variations under Models.
Myself too, actually, but I haven't gotten around to it. In fact, it's practically essential for what I'm wanting to do.
I assume Blizzard uses a single Marine portrait model with different textures for models like the Tiger Marine and Panda Marine, or perhaps even Kerrigan and Nova.

If anyone is interested, I made an SC2Mapster logo to use for the Buzz Me contest. I figured others would find use to it, so here it is:
And here is the .DDS if anyone wants that.

Mine was the same as well. Same with one of my friends. I think if you chose the same name as in beta it stays.

You have to have the campaign as a dependency for your map.

Here's the .swf: http://us.media.blizzard.com/sc2/game/heroes/portraits/kerrigan.swf
I can't find a way to convert from .swf to .gif, though. Every converter I've tried creates a still image.

Yes. The only thing the CD key is used for is to add the game to your account so you can login. Anybody can install if they have the installer.

I completely agree.

Kind of like YouTube I guess.

It might be because it can't find the unit that died because it had to wait.
I could be totally wrong.

There's a trigger called Set Unit Model Variation, but that might not affect doodads.
What you'll probably want to do is set the doodad model to a single variation and pick the specific model rather than the general model.

I'm not sure if this would work, but you could have a periodic event of 0 sec that clears text messages for the specified player.

Yes, they are in game models. Of course you'll have to animate them yourself if you're going to do anything unique.

I'm pretty sure that's not even touched up.
