It can only actually attack ground units, as modified in the Weapon Target Filters, but I can't figure out to change the tooltip. Anyone know how I might go about fixing this?
I haven't really played around with First person camera-ing, but apparently it's an issue, which other people are trying to figure out the solution to as well. So if you figure it out, don't hesitate to post.
I believe there is an action to disable a specific sound channel, which may be your haven. As for the second question you would need to order a unit to attack a point, or a location of a unit with Issue order to unit. If you cannot figure that out i can post a script sample.
No, what i was trying to say would be that you would make a new trigger with the Map Initialization event and it would simply add the specific unit that you wanted the camera to follow to a new local var(unit group) and then you would use the action "follow unit group for player 1", you would then apply a first person camera to the palyer. Would this not work? If you still don't understand what i am trying to portray, i'll make a screenshot of what i mean when i get home from work.
What exactly are you trying to make? I may be able to help you, i'm not exactly active on the forums as i have mostly just been lurking, but if you need some help, send me a PM. I love me some tree tag. ;D
Could you not just add the specific unit you wish to follow to a unit group, then use the follow unit group for player function, Then apply a camera's properties to the player?
I have looked around on these forums and in this topic it says to use the import manager to edit the icon. I was wondering if anyone could explain to me how I would go about doing this, I have never used the import manager and I am relatively new to the GE.
