- Custom resources can not be used in heart of the swarm, major bug that will most likely not be fixed, dont think blizz cba with it, too small problem I assume.
NEW post:
Got tired of this, googled for hours, seems impossible, found another way tho, but ran into a problem immediatly:
Player - Modify player (triggering player) Terrazine: Add 15
Player - Modify player (triggering player) Minerals: Add 1000
What the hell is going on? As you can see, it works for the minerals, but not the Terrazine?
Why am I running into a problem as soon as I change a direction?
Also yes, I'm making the Terrazine act as a unit counter for the extra units with shit tons of triggers, shit got complicated I'll tell u that.. but it works, except I cant add terrazine for some weird reason.
OLD post:
Like the title says, I want to make a limit of amount of units you can have/train/have in queue by a certain Unit-type by 15.
I can't go into the data editor since it will make the requirement for the unit overall, and I just want it to affect the player that picks the unit.
The game goes:
- You get 3 units to train, Unit Y, Unit X and Unit Z.
- You can pick ONE of those 3 units to be your "main" unit, and by doing so you can create for example 20 Y units, while all other players can only make 15 of it, (5 more as a bonus to main picked unit).
For Wc3 editor users that remember this easy way: (I'm sure non-wc3 players will understand it aswell)

@redbean87: Go
what about these triggers:
event: footman is trained
condition: total units in [footman unit group] < 15
action1: disable "build footman" from barracks
action2: add triggering unit to [footman unit group]
```````````````
event: footman dies
action: enable "build footman"
