I want to create a map that get's player's local time when they play my map. Because I want to make events that only happen at certain times. For example if a player plays my game at 8pm their time it will be night time and different mobs will spawn something like that. Anyone know away to do this in the map editor? Thanks either way.
You could do the lighting/events by region by uploading the map twice or more times a day to each server.
I suppose it's possible to just upload the time in a dependency and only upload that so that the entire map wouldn't need to be redownloaded (I believe that's how it works?). Clearly, this isn't a real solution.

not possible. you cant get local time from server. the best you can do is ask the player for the current time
@SoulTaker916: Go
Unless its the Game Time they are asking mine starts with 6am
Just saying...

Well that's a drag but that's ok, I'll dumb down my project then. Thanks for the help. Maybe one day blizzard will gift us with battlenet time.
