Hello everyone. I've been working on a terrain "landscape", just one of those very simple pictures. And its my first official terrain screenshot I'm going to post. I'm also quite new with the editor. Anyway I don't have anyone near that can judge and comment (or laugh). So I'm asking you guys to do so :) . have no idea if its a good or a bad landscape.
Thanks in advance.
Looks nice, though it just feels a little bit cluttered. When first looking at it, no one thing stands out in particular. The eye doesn't know where to look. Also, could use some shrubs :P
Very much true, but that's probably a problem with the camera's location moreso than the area being cluttered. I like it overall, post us a screenshot from game cam?
Thanks for the advices, I added some plants, but I couldn't find a solution for the cluttered thing :S .
And Its also attached the normal game camera screenshot.

Try playing around with different lighting settings. Your problem is that all your doodads are the same shade of beige/brown/yellow. If you play with some of the lighting options you can get the contrast between objects higher causing the viewer to see an actual scene rather than a murky painting of beige/brown/yellow stuff.

I'd recommend increasing diffuse and decreasing bloom threshold.
Ummm... Okay. The result picture is a attached. Is the lightning better?
I might take some time to reply, because its late and I'm going to sleep:3.Yes, yes it is. You might want to make the man-made features a bit darker through tint or HDR, but otherwise it looks fine.
Also, what is that protoss pipe/sideways column thingy behind the Temple Arch? Looks interesting.
Okay. Darker it is. :)
The Protoss pipe is several doodads "Temple Debris" with variations 1 and 3 (attached a picture of it :3)
Your terrain looks great!
Thanks for the info.
Thanks for the help. :)
