I would love to see a tutorial which explains how to make hero abilities which i can learn with my hero after he leveled up.
The abilities should have about 10 levels and i want to know what i have to do to get x skillpoints at lvl y per level up.
There really should be a tutorial on how to 'graft' units to other units (think: Uberlisk). I realize there's that XML tutorial for the uberlisk - but it would be great if someone could translate that into how to do it in GE. I spent a couple of hours messing around in the data editor but still can't figure out how to attach models to each other and make them be able to attack.

I second this. I'd really like to know how to do this.
Actually, a full out tutorial on how to MAKE an Uberlisk would be great. Why? Because creating an Uberlisk combines many parts of data editing. Actors, abilities, weapons modifying, and so forth.
1) Remove a requirement such as "Armory" from an upgrade (AKA Infrantry Weapons Level 2)
2) Make it so Terran units can receive Protoss Plasma Shields upgrades. I gave them shields, and I also edited it so they are listed under the upgrade.. It still doesn't work. The upgrade doesn't effect them.
Cause I can't figure it out and it's required for my map
Ok i have alot of questions i dont want to give to much away what im creating but i wish to learn how to edit the models of units like say marines without the gun? or making him melee. Next is i would realy like to know if u can combine maps say if u have somewhere u want to warp to but u need more room then just 1 map. Next is just how to make an underground map. Next is how to Import other files like skins or tiles or pictures or anything like that into the editor and be able to use it. That is all for now thanks.
The best tutorial thats absolutely necessary to practically every custom game is a tutorial for an advanced leaderboard that can keep track of kills, a players level, life and/or (optional energy) and what level wave a person is on.
An optional tutorial would be to make a simple 5 level wavemap that will only spawn the next wave once all the units are dead from the current wave and a timer reaches the end of 30 seconds.
Im absolutely positive this could help around 90% of the community that wants to generate any sort of fun multiplayer map for a lot of different gameplay types.
The uberlisk tutorial is great. but TBH its an asthetic tutorial, and isnt that vital to many maps. Whereas leaderboards and waves are crucial to a lot of maps that will be released in starcraft II. It may be better to start out with tutorials that focus on general gameplay before going into asthetics.
Thanks in advance for reading and listening to this post guys, you guys have been immensely helpful during my Starcraft II mod making process.
I need a Tutorial about how to attach Models to other Models (Auto-Turret on top of Bunker, Hellion Turrets on Siegetanks etc.) and how to properly change attacks and weapons with the right attachment points. I tried to give Thor 2x Flamethrowers instead of his Guns but the Flame came out of his chest and I couldnt find out how to change it .. (Not the easy stuff, I mean stuff like Uberlisk and his spinecrawlers or if someone can find it out TERRATRON :D )
I would love if someone could do a tutorial on how to add dialog boxes for character selection / race selection and how to add timers for mission objectives ^^
Would you like a tutorial? Just throw your ideas here, maybe someone will be kind enough to write it :)

Objectives, how to trigger them and how to make a trigger to complete them.
Edit: Upgrade system based on levels.

This.
and Leaderboards.
Hero attributes? I can't figure it out for the life of me.

I would like to see a tutorial that explains attaching an ability to a unit, and then having that ability fire a trigger every time it's used.

A tutorial about making various type of conversations working would be great. With/without choices etc.
Tutorial for Creating 3D-Models and Convert them for SCII, so i can create models and others can use them for example :).
would be very nice thanks.
Can someone explain me how to make the lava rises up and down? Thanks a lot. ;)@vjeux: Go
