It's a shame you wanna walk away from it, though. I was going to propose we all work on a rewrite of the SC2 story. And I mean everyone...You, Gradius, Avex, Gna, CybrosX, and so on...
What would a rewrite of the SC2 story look like, in your (everyone's) eyes? Probably should have another topic, but I would actually prefer to just rewrite vanilla's story and start from scratch. Introduce the races individually with their infighting, much like the terrans'. Protoss introductory campaign starts out with the dark templar exodus (or aeon of strife), zerg introductory campaign starts out with them rebelling against the xel'naga and leaving Zerus (though I'd really like to just write the xel'naga out of direct interaction with the body of sc's canon), etc.
The assets look unique and feel cohesive in their design. Definitely a very different take on hybrid aesthetics than I've seen before.
Hey GhostNova, do you intend to fix those attachment issues you mentioned? If not, is there any chance that you could upload the original Blender/Max files, so that other modelers could try to fix the issues? Many of the models throw errors when I try importing them into Blender or 3ds Max, making it impossible for me to fix them.
EDIT: I have so far managed to fix issues with both the Sentinel and Annihilator, using Blender. I would fix the Flayer, but it throws errors when it tries to import and instead imports nothing.

The only way you are going to be able to fix the issues is to use the M3 scripts for 3DSMAX 2010. Most of my older models won't load into TaylorMouse's M3 scripts.
I don't have the original 3ds max files anymore only M3s.
If you manage to fix it I can go ahead and upload it to the page with credits to you for the fix if you like. Either way thanks for working on these.
I have released a working mod of this on battle.net (N.A.). "Reforged Hybrid" contains everything including (which I made) custom re-texture, wire-frames and icons. The mod can be played on "Reforged" as triggers allow it to be selected. Fully functional and in the process of balancing, enjoy.
