My feedback would be more EYECANDY please. Not the terrain. the terrain looks pretty already to me, esp the cliff where you can see the river stream down below. Is that wolf like pet? The dialog looks ugly honest!
- Minimap needs border imo
- life bar too
- hotkey dialog needs border too.
- imo find a border pattern that you think will fit the world and put it there
I wanna know more about Stats. is it like diablo or ragnarok where you choose which to foocus on? or more like WoW, stats are static
I also wanna know since its ORPG what is the ideal size of # of people in group? I hope it's not 10 or 12. I hope 4 or 5 is enough so then after finishing quest there would be 3 team of 4 (12 players) and we can do PvP or some sort
I cannot agree more about the UI, I find it rather ugly myself, but for some reason it's really hard to make something like that up from scratch since the in-game SC:II images does not fit the world or my idea of the UI at all. So I agree, if anyone has an idea how to approach the creation of a new unique UI, It would be must appreciated.
The wolf is a invulnerable Spirit Beast summoned by the Spirit Hunter that lasts for 10 minutes.
Stats are static, but follows an exponential form. To illustrate, the Warrior will from level 1 to level 2 gain around +30hp, but from level 5 to level 6, he will gain around +125hp. I cannot remember the form exactly, but I think it is something like (attributeLevel1Bonus * currentHeroLevel^1.2)
I have only tested with 1, 2 & 3 people, but the map supports up to 8 players, but I might reduce this to 4 if there are too many balance problems with 8players. To be honest I think it require more skills the more players you are. For example with 2 players, all enemy units will have 180% HP, and deal 135% damage. With 8 players this is 800% life and 220% damage.
Actually, PvP is possible, at least it was in build 42 (currently at build 44), but I plan to put it in again, I just need to set up a proper arena, but for this map it's only for testing purposes. I do though plan at some point to create an actual Battle-Arena map with different modes and such.

Things are looking bright here at the backside of the project. The map gets more stable as I fix bugs, and balance classes out even more. Some people are showing great interest in the project, and a modeler with a very impressive background has offered to help out with some new very exciting features as well as to later model various environmental models, opening up for the possibility of whole new environments and ideas (which I have tons of!) to come.
More of this later when we figure things out, and know what we are actually going to do in the future (right now we are mostly discussing how to approach things, such as working parallel)
I am now asking for friendly people to help me speed things up. You are welcome to join the project and get your credits in it if you can do one or more of the following things listed below:
-UI artist: Everything from ability/item-icons to full interface-dialogs, like the action-bar or spell-book.
-Data-editor: Creating various spell-effects, units and more. Mostly visual things as most attributes are custom ones changed with triggers.
-Modeler: Mostly environmental models, but if you are really good with character-like models, lets discuss.
-Any other talent you have, that you think would help the project towards a better finish, I am always open to new ideas! :)

On another note, things are still working out great for the project, lately, I have been working on items and abilities, tons of new items have been created, and the whole item-drop system has been revamped in a much better way.

Managed to get 2 heroes when loading my character, might have double clicked, could only use one though and the camera got stuck at the copy after I died on purpuse. Also... you might want to make the templars who teach spells immovable since they see enemies as a threat but can't do any dmg so if an enemy comes close they move towards em. God... I wouldn't even call this Beta, rather Alpha this is so glitched. looks nice though and has great potential
I uploaded version 1_1 earlier today which fixed the most game-breaking bugs. A few minutes ago I uploaded version 1_2 which fixes even more bugs. I forgot to copy the change-log, but it is on the map-loading screen. Take a look there :)
This game got more bugs then i got fingers. But screw it! It's an A.W.E.S.O.M.-O start to an A.W.E.S.O.M.-O game. I'm glad to be a beta tester on this game, AND being from the same country as JakeCake is a lie. But the game has many bugs and you can't get around that. And the difficulty system STILL don't work. I believe with alot of work from Jake and the Testers this can become a regular thing on page 1! Let's help this game become the most awesomest game EVER! I will help as much as i can and i already say that i already put atleast 10 complaints from me and my freind Frutti(by complaints i also means bugs). Let's always try Fun Or Not at least twice a day and HOPE we get Corruption ORPG and then rate it 99999 out of 2!
