If you want to try and fix the timing feel free I will gladly re-capture and render it if you need me to.
Also I have created a Playlist on Youtube for all the Cut Scene Entries I could find (I know I am missing one becuase the video is showing up as Private). Please let me know if I am missing anyone's entry. I will update this as new ones come out.
Thanks for the upload and compliment mrm3fan. It is nice to see it 'uber' quality =).
Interestingly, your view is a little larger than mine and the video is faster (the sound ends slightly later).
Fortunately it still works pretty well ^ ^.
There is a trigger in 'Game' to fix the random seed which may help reproducibility. However, small modifications can still change how the AI acts so it is more to know the end product is good than for it to be consistent during the production.
CPU: Intel Core i7 860 @ 2.80 Ghz (this is a Quad-Core processor that can mutlithread and act like 8 cores)
Memory: 8 GB G-Skill PI+Turbulence DDR3 2200
Video: 2x HIS Radeon HD 5750 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 (I usually keep them seperate for the two monitor layout but to capture some of these I switched to Crossfire for a bit).
MB: Gigabyte GA-955A-UD4P
Along with a BRONZE Certified 1000W Power Supply to power it all.
I use Fraps to capture the Cut Scene while in game and then I just drop them in Sony Vegas and render them at 1080p "youtube" quality.
Ya, you need to have a PC that can handle running the game at Ultra Settings while using some type of recording Software that either compresses the file on the fly or have another program that you can put the raw recording into and render in a compressed format afterward. Hence why I have been doing just such a thing for about 12 people now.
If you have a system that can do this then there you have it. If not you will probably want to share the map (like everyone else has) so someone else can capture it and render it in HD on your behalf.
In order to make a video process as HD on Youtube you have to render the video in either a 720p or 1080p format/resolution. It is best to actually capture the video at those resolutions rather than trying to take something that is low res and rendering at a high res. In this case to get 1080p you need a resolution around 1920x1080 and for 720p you want something like 1280x720.
Could I send you the map so you capture it and render it in Hd as you did for other peoples ?
That would be se bad if i added subtitles and they couldn't be read lol
I think as part of the rules for this you are suppose to share your map anyway. I could be wrong. Just attach it to a post here and I will see about capturing and rendering it to the best my system can handle...lol.
1.1GB??? Umm not sure about that. When I go to grab the file it only shows as like 13MB. Also what resolution did you record/render it cause it looks weird when watching it on Youtube?
The raw unedited fraps footage (that I uploaded) was a 1.1gb .avi file. Youtube processed it and optimised it I guess. My screen resolution is 1280 x 1024 so I assume fraps used the same resolution. The odd lightning flickering also appears in-game, either because of my graphics settings or just the camera's draw-in distance.
In order to remake my map, I'll need to know exactly how many game seconds are in a real-life second, in order to sync it with the cinematics timing.
EDIT: Alright, hopefully I fixed it, although it might be totally off. Can you take a look at it and tell me if anything looks funny, before you record it?
Oh, wow, the lag on my computer totally changed the timing of everything D:
I think I might be able to re-make the entire thing using only game-time, but I don't know >.>

How are you recording these? And what are your CPU specs? :P

My entry:
Had to leave my pc on overnight to upload the damn thing for the 4th time (1.1Gb video? :S)

That was very well done. Added to Playlist.
Here is my submission, contest version! Could someone explain me how to make it HD and better res ? (So you can read the subtitles -_-)

Actually I will change a few things and render it myself w/ a better computer, thanks anyway.
