Because its the only video out of all of them that actually made proper use of Light & Shadow, Fog, Lighting & Cameras. Music was "meh" all-over, because of the overused (Hello Immediate Music, how are you today?) or not fitting songs.
The two that came down to me deciding for were "Zerged" by Victiln and "Lights in the Fog" by Crainy.
I ended up voting for "Zerged" however.
Of course, all videos were done well and contained entertaining footage.
As for "Lights in the Fog", I found this to be a wonderful battle scene with fabulous work with the lights fog and I found the music worked well with the camera style, mood and setting. However, I found the overall video lacked direction. Great work none-the-less.
Lastly, nicely done Victiln! Your video had me sold on the first moments of the video. The zerglings rushing through the beaten terrain of the dessert tundra was a very stylish way to build up towards the the battle itself. Also, the night setting you chose was brilliant. Definitely added to the overall entertainment of the scene. Not to mention the camera work was phenomenal, all the angles and camera transitions were very fitting. They provided exceptional views of the scene so every little detail was covered. Once again, very well done :)
< That was truly epic. Something about two giant armies in space shooting different color lasers just appeals to me. The warping in at the beginning and rotating camera were nice. I also like the sense of 3d you conveyed through staggering the ships.
2. Revenge of the Tal'darim by wachoo86
< The best storyline (as far as a story can go in a 2 minute movie). I actually felt somewhat of an attachment for Raynor and his marines. Zeratul's blinking around and assassinating marines was epic. The ending was great too.
3. Lights In the Fog by Crainy
< This was just amazing. It reflects most the careful planning of a movie director, but something about it was just lacking. It did seem epic. The shadows on the walls and the ultralisk lumbering out of the fog particularly struck me, but something was just missing. I guess I just felt cheated that it ended so abruptly. Maybe just because Zeratul was simply standing there for the whole time. I understand how it conveys a feeling of sorrow. Zeratul watching his men charge into a hopeless battle... but it didn't seem quite right.
4. The Arena by rougelike
< I really liked the plot twist. That just gave me a sense of satisfaction for some reason that I didn't get from any of the other videos.

It is pretty much a feature that WoW players really use. Unfortunately those who do not play WoW tend to not really use it.
