WHAT IS BANELING FAMILY TD?
LORE:
Once upon a time, there was a happy Baneling Family living in an abundant and resourceful Baneling Island. Little was known about the island but wise men says the devil once step its foot to the islands and left its belongings, the Devil Fruit. There are many kind of Devil Fruit, some identified ones are Devil Fruit of Fat, Devil Fruit of Ninja, and Devil Fruit of Milk. Eating the fruit will grant its eaters some new powerful power and magically evolve them to a new form. However, the fruit was so delicious that you will forget who you are, who your friends are, who your parents are, you will forget everything... It was also said that the fruit eaters will be haunted by the devil for the rest of their life and the only thing they can do is run...
One rainy day, a group of banelings got tired after a long hiking activities and they saw a bucket full of fruits. That was when the chaos begun. On that day, many banelings forgot who they are, and where they come from. The cute, little, green Banelings as we know it is now a haunted and grotesque Lings that care for nothing but themselves, hungry for nothing but power, and do nothing but got scared and run...
Then comes the Terrans who looks at these scared Lings in the eye and have a pity on them. The Terrans still believe that the Lings can still be saved and there is a shred of humanity left within the Lings...
GAMEPLAY:
Objective: Last Man Standing
Suggested Players: 6 - 8
Team: 2 vs the world
Genre: Tower Defense
Features: 22 unique Towers, 9 waves of mobs (30 waves of mobs w/ 3 bosses will be coming soon)
At the beginning, you will choose game type and Baneling type. You will be allied with the player either next to you or accross you depending on your choice. The Baneling you chose will become your hero/runner and it will do nothing but got scared and run...
You are the Terrans that sides with one of the baneling and you have to do anything to keep your Baneling alive.
How to keep your Baneling alive as long as possible?
Train it at 48 Hour Fitness building to increase their Life, Shield, Energy, Armor, and Speed.
Build a building called Corbuzier's Chamber to cast protective magic, buff, and spells.
Build towers that heal your Baneling and keep it in the game.
Use your Baneling's Abilities at the right place and right time.
Training requires mineral$$, How to get mineral$$?
Complete as many laps as possible with your scared/running Baneling to get paycheck.
There will be mobs running around the island. Build attacking towers to kill them and reap the rewards.
Kill enemy's Runner/Baneling and reap the rewards.
There will be mineral patch in front of your territory, send mining droid to gather minerals.
To win the game, kill enemies' Runner/Baneling and be the last survivor. How to kill them?
Build the right towers at the right place, right time
Work together with your allies to protect each other Runner/Baneling and to kill enemies Runner/Baneling
This map is not final but we feel it is fully playable and fun enough. We will provide updates, add new features, and be supporting it. We will be very thankful for your feedback and suggestions.

I've been playing your baneling marathon td map, and I love it. But the one big problem it has is the voting system at the start of the map. If even one player doesn't vote, or leaves, then everyone is stuck and has to quit the map. You should include a "Vote Timer" that shows how much time is left to cast your vote, and once the timer is over, anyone who hasn't voted is disregarded. Maybe a 30 sec vote timer.
What is the difference between training with and without steroids?
How does the Frat House bunker thing work?
What is that area in the bottom right corner with the Stone Golem? I sent a droid there to check things out but nothing happened.
Void Rays are OP against runners. Set like 4 void rays and a fully upgraded runner dies within seconds.
you should also remove the "Press any key to continue" from the loading screen.
Vote timer coming soon. The reason I added "Press any key to continue" was to prevent Afk but I guess I was wrong... But Vote timer coming.
Natural Training: you get the stats increase on Runner/Hero Level Up. This is beneficial Long term. After about 7-8 level up it breaks even compared to Steroid Training. Dangerous early game but I thought that's the dillemma. If you use Ultraling, early game HP already high so you can gamble on long term.
We just nerfed Crucio Tank a bit. Void Rays (Blu-ray) is a bit OP yes but its DPS/Cost only paid off on 3rd Level charge. 1st and 2nd charge actually very low DPS/Cost. But we'll look into it
Btw, I saw your Smash TV Map video and was inspired. There were actually the audience cheering and fireworks and balloon flying whenever you completed laps but it makes the game very laggy so we decided to remove it lolz. We might add it in the future maybe less headcount of spectator and less fireworks and balloon lolz
Frat House add Range of units inside it by 9 and multiply the weapon damage by 9 as well.
SCV, i.e has range of 0.1 and damage of 5-7. Once inside it becomes 9.1 range and 45-63 damage.
Stone golem at the corner is part of the additional features and game mechanic. We actually still have a lot of features to add.
Thanks for the info. Here are some more things I found:
1) I understand that you put units into the Frat House, but aside from the SCV, are there any other units to put inside? I don't think you can get more SCVs.
2) Some of your abilities require you to target your runner. Like the fast regeneration. I find it doubtful that people are going to be casting the buff spells on any other player or their towers or anything, so I think those should be made auto-target for the runner like the way Heal 500 HP is.
3) I also find healing towers to be kinda useless and inefficient. I think a better solution would be to remove healing towers, and just allow your normal towers to be able to automatically attack your runner. Except that when your towers attack your runner, they HEAL for whatever amount of damage they would do. Heal either HP or shields.
4) Action Figure wave can't be targeted.
5) You should include some way to change the direction of movement from counter-clockwise to clockwise and vice versa. I was in a game where it was just me and one guy left. He was right below me, and once he managed to be able to kill my runner, then it was all over for me since I would have no chance to get through his defense. And since he's right below me, my runner would reach him first when he would respawn. Meanwhile, if I killed his runner, it would have to go all the way around before it reached me again.
6) When a runner respawns, they should respawn with full energy. Kinda stupid to have my runner respawn with 100 energy when he can't even use his most valuable ability.
7) What exactly does the 50 energy droid do? I use him to mine the mineral patch, but he doesn't seem to get anything.
8 ) Btw, you still haven't quite answered what the difference between using steroid upgrades and normal upgrades is. As far as I can tell, I only see the difference being cost....but why pay more for steroid upgrades?
9) The observer laser tower is stackable. Not sure if you did this on purpose or not.

-> Yes CL4P-TP (Claptrap) Droid can load inside the Frat House. Its damage is 5-15 which equates to 45-135. It will only last 30 sec but there is actually more usage than just attacking.

-> CL4P-TP you mean? As of now, CL4P-TP can attack, has damage 5-15. Can load into bunker for stronger attack. There is one game where a player's SCV got stuck between 48 Hour Fitness and Corbuzier's Chamber and there is no sell building button. So he calldown Claptrap to attack the building and get the SCV free lolz.
It can also claim taxes. It has 30s cooldown compared to the mining droid's 60s cooldown. There will be more usage for this droid in upcoming version.

-> Steroid and Natural has the exact same cost. Steroid gives you instant boost. Natural gives u slow growth on hero level up. For example on Free Weight Training.
Steroid : +250 HP
Natural : +35HP per level up.
So when your runner level up 7 times you got +245 HP right?! Break Even. But your runner can level up to Lvl 15. so potentially it can do up to 14 x 30 = 490 HP. Almost double of the steroid in the long run if you upgrade it before your hero level up too much. There is a drawback on Natural though. i.e. Ninjaling starting HP is 500. if you upgrade Natural, I can easily Pwned you with Durian Bomb ability from Corbuzier's Chamber (Ghost Academy) or I can do the Nuclear Crisis Ability and get triple kill on those who are betting on Natural Training (It actually happened in one of the game we played. Once guy experiment with quick nuke and those who trained with steroid survived, the natural trainer failed and he got triple kill) . Versus if you upgrade steroid asap, you might survive the durian bomb.

Anyone played this map? It was released back in Nov, reaching steady 150-300 games. Then I took it off for major updates, then reaching 200 games then I just took it off again for next major final updates in the next few weeks.
If you have played, please let me know what do you guys think. I am thinking to kill the project if nobody likes it... Help me decide here. Don't be afraid to be honest. If you think this map sucks it's fine let me know. It will help me so much to move on to next idea.

Updates coming this weekend. Some of the new features:
- 29 Waves with 2 Bosses
- Added 1 more gameplay mode
- Added 1 more Runner Type
We still have a lot of additional features in mind but if we wait until everything is implemented it won't be finished until next year.
Also, we think these additions are playable and good enough... Maybe adding more features along the way if you guys like the map
