Hey there
Until recently I worked on a mac for all my modding and mapmaking needs.. Recently I started using my Windows for this, and some of the things do not translate over exactly...
My question is: Where are the MPQ archives located for both SC1 and SC2 in Windows 7 64-bit? Both were downloaded from Battle.net, if that makes any difference.. Thanks a lot!
The mpq files for SC2 are in your installation directory's mod folder, e.g. C:/Program Files(x64)/Starcraft II/Mods. If that folder's empty you shouldn't be able to run anything SC2 related at all.
I'm pretty sure the mpq files for SC1 are just in the installation directory.

@brothman01: Go
I dont know sc1, but sc2 directory is in the game install directory, which is normally C:/Program Files/Starcraft 2/ Mods
The Version/ directory is for patch and stuff, VerisonTest/ are for PTR server, Battlenet/ are file for battlenet
see, that's what I thought too.. but the folder is empty...
helloooooooooo

For sc1 the mpq files are on the CDs.
If you're using the official no-cd workaround then they're in your install directory.
