No, I've never tried the SC I extra campaign.
But hell, that sounds interesting!!
I'll definately try to design a map, where you can choose a side.
I'll send you a PM when we release the first map on Mapster :)
And trust me - The terrain will be decent. I don't know if you've seen some of my work, but I promise you - You won't be dissapointed.
However, you shouldn't judge our campaign "gameplay-wise" out from your experience of the 1st mission :P

I see. I may dissapoint you by telling you that the campaign we're currently working on is a Protoss campaign and there's no good rebels or good terroists in the socks of the main characters :(
And yeah, we'll definately work on the communication between the different characters.
When you find out what Scorp and I have been working on, you'll think otherwise : P
But ye, I hate that Blizzard aren't supporting custom campaigns with new tools or anything at all
Units
I would like to say new units or at least modified units (The Scattered Project modified unit stats to be a bit more realistic lore wise, such as infantry costs and stats going down, mech costs and stats going up.)
Missions
I'd like for there to be interesting types of missions rather than just the normal build your base up, attack the enemy base, type of missions. I'd also like to see less turtling (seeing as how much of it was in the Wings of Liberty Campaign), maybe less extremely effective defensive units (if races are altered, such as Siege Tank damage being reduced by a lot, Bunker HP going down, stuff like that. Or raising their costs instead.)
