But why put that much detail in for just a simple test? They are in the castinar section if I am not mistaken... Maybe the castanar mission once had a different reactor and plot event during early development but they changed it?
I can find them in the terrain object layer when I add all of the standard dependencies and search "zz". Opening the map this time one that was not there before showed up. They are in the castanar section, the extra one was zz TEST Hybrid Lab.
The fact that they don't show up regularly puzzles me, mayhap they are left over and not supposed to show up at all?
The more I look at the varius things they are the more I think they were original props for the Castanar mission, you got the power core, the hybrid and some giant robot thing.
When I create a new map or open a map with all 4 standard dependencies and search for 'zz' in doodads, actors, models or the model file browser, they don't show up.

if im not mistaken. they are terrain objects. (like say the avernus glass floor thingy). so looking for them in doodads will not show results lol.

Ah, there are 2 types of terrain objects. I thought, we were talking about the doodad category named Terrain Objects.
I cannot apply any textures, though. They do not have any texture definitions at all, a model editor might be able to do so.
I thought, I could, because there are other models with missing textures (for example the plasma battlecruiser), but they have a texture definition, only the texture file is missing. Sorry :/
I WANT!
Y u no have skin?
Ok 2 doodads, not one..... WHYYYY WHYY WHYYY ARE THEY NOT SKINED!!!
The first looks like the old robot doodad from SC1, the one most often found half underwater.
Second would make an interesting reactor.
Who here don't want to play with them?
Point me to the path and I will try some skins :D
In edditor when I have all 4 standard dependencies they are zz Test robot and zz test chasm.
The top one just makes me nostalgic for SC1 XD.
EDIT, and of course they are terrain objects.
They are terrain Test objects... Thats why

Now this I want to see.
I cannot seem to find them at all

@HPFarmer:
the test unit thing, is all units combined into one unit lol, They are all in the same place so the biggest ones are there
(Doesn't include flying units)
I don't quite get what you are saying.

@Kueken531: Go
Assets\TerrainObjects\THorner05SHybridLab\THorner05SHybridLab.m3 Assets\TerrainObjects\TerrainObjectRobotChunk\TerrainObjectRobotChunk.m3 Assets\TerrainObjects\TerrainObjectDonutChunk\TerrainObjectDonutChunk.m3
