I don't know what the deal is, but it just keeps getting stuck on not responding. I had two other people open it with the same version of the editor. One could load it while the other could not.

Help plz
Only time this happened to me was when I was working with a custom tileset. A specular map screwed everything up and I had to manually remove it with an MPQ editor. =/
It's not a custom tileset. A different person did do the terrain for me who has gone mia. What I don't get is how one person can open it just fine. I had him save the map with a different name and send it to me and I still can't open it.
Good thing to note, the person who could open it, lives in EU.
1. Make a copy of that file and ask the Blizzard guys in the irc chat on workdays to examine the file and find the source of that bug, so the editor handles that situation in a future release. This is clearly something that shouldn't have happened in the editor. ;)
2. You can change the localization in the editor's settings. It will download the localized sc2 files then. It might work then.
I guess that the localization is the problem due to the described behavior. If you can open it using that EU guys' localization, it might work. Maybe changing the locale in the editor and/or the settings in the editor make it load.
If you have problems doing that, you can always use a program made by the admin of teamliquid to change it.
Alternatively you can change the locales in the variables.txt file in your OS's user profile folder. There is a StarCraft II folder containing that file.
For anyone interested in the solution I had to go into the registry and delete the editor files. Some setting didn't like the new patch and caused the map not to load.

Thanks
I downloaded that program and it's reinstall 1.5.1 for whatever reason
Changed it to EU and same problem. I don't get it. Hey ahli how do you contact them on irc. Do you have the details?
