So my map worked fine through several edits and plays, and I changed some more stuff, and now, after 10 sec or so it just drops to 5 FPS and you cannot place any buildings or harvest minerals, it just all says 'invalid location'.
Disable triggers and see what causes the problem and use trigger debugger!
I think some data editor things too can cause the problems (like invalid actor events/models/animations). But just use the debugger....nothing we can really do with this information.
You can also try to reboot your comp...if you didnt change anything major? :E
Well helping would be relaying any past experiences you or anyone else may have.
Anyways, turns out the problem was putting too many "no pathing" (foot circles) on the map. I deleted all of them and it is perfectly fine. Seems pretty asinine to me but that's what ruined my game...so beware of the evil feet circles...

bumping a old topic, but I have some of the same question
Is it true that no pathing tool, generates lots of lag if you use it to do the walls/borders/ etc of your entire 256X256 map?
For example, dunno why but yesterday in the SC2 editor i noticed that when I switched to "H" Pathing Layer, the editor lags a bit
none of my other layers lag in the editor, only that Pathing layer
I do have lots of No Pathing doing all the borders, walls, etc
Will this greatly increase lag In Game? Is it some lag for the Pathing Layer in the Editor Normal?
Any ideas about Pathing Layer Lag? Is there something else I should be doing for the No Pathing areas?
Thanks!
