I was thinking if the race (protoss, terran, zerg) has anything to do with winning a match? or, is based on how good a player is and has nothing to do with what race they are?
I tend to think the latter of those is probably true. But some people tend to believe in this:
Terran > Zerg > Protoss > Terran
or move them around to whatever they want to QQ about on that day.. lol. Thoughts?
I being a big SC2 fan can tell you its more about skill. the "Terran > Zerg > Protoss > Terran" chart comes in because at lower levels its easier for terran to beat zerg and zerg to beat toss and toss to beat terran but once you get into a high enough league were terrans spit storms or scan snipe observer and send in cloaked ghosts to emp then protoss will have to fight equally hard. or when zerg learns to split against widow mines then terran will have to split himself as the banelings role in.
sorry for the long-ish post but I really get frusterated by QQ posts but the only way to balance the game at all levels would to have only one race.
so as a summery, until high levels it seems like this is true but later on it evens out.
The only place where there may be race issue is the top skill level like the ones you observe on leagues and tournaments. Everywhere below including Masters who whine on blizzard forums are all L2P issue. Terran is absolutely not an easy race... afterburners may need a nerf but it still takes skill to multitask.. Just because on lower levels Zerg a moves into 10 sieged tanks on a cliff is hardly race problem...
