Hello there, I'm making my own map, and I'm new to sc2 editor and don't really understand how a lot of things work, ill post some questions in this thered, if sum1 can help me, that would be nice.
First of all I'm trying to make stackable debuff, i spend alot of time with flags and stuff but still it won't stack
and one more thing, can i hide all units in sc2editor so it won't lag?
Hi! To make a behavior stackable, head to the Stats: Maximum Stack Count field of the behavior or just search for "stack" in the search bar. And to hide the units in the terrain editor, go to View->Show Layer->Units (Shift-U).
Check out the Wiki (top of the page). Interface is slightly outdated in a lot of the tutorials but material is still relevant and done quite well for an all-volunteer made wiki (we are a bunch of bad-asses!)
Under the buff itself is a field called Stats: Maximum Stack Count.
How many units you got on your map because lag could also be caused by actor events being inefficient.
I advise posting future questions in the more specialized forums.
Alot of units, theres like a big forest with trees thats actually a destructible units, btw how can i make these trees close line of sight? they r just like eny buildings

And heres 2 problems, first one as u can see theres some errors, got eny ideas why i did wrong with these triggers?
And other one as u can see on screenshot i got tank that got ability similar to Odin's barrage, it also has turret but with no weapon so it can turn its gun tower, but when i use my barrage, and playing attacking animation my tank just won't face the target area, it keeps turning like a turret
And btw can i increase size of circle around sieged tank?
If what you're refering to is the radius of the Siege Tank's attack, you'll have to change the Range parameter of the Weapon that is linked to the Siege Tank Unit.

I got 2 units, first one hero and second one minion, Marine - Hero and Tank - Minion, tank has alot of abilities as u see, and marine don't have eny, i need to get tank's abilities in use with marine's command card, so i can use tank's abilities without switching units, help me plx, I'm going crazy, i used ability with issue order but it didn't work, by some reason it says no units can handle the ability, my best shot was tank shooting it self when marine target it with ability =(
I think HOTS added some actor event function to make stuff look at a target like the Zurvan boss
If you duped your Action type actor odds are the beam or missile art field is broken by having a 2 at the end of something that should not.
By fade you mean dead units or units that are still alive? Do you mean into the fog of war?
Depending on the type of ability there should be a field for range else you can add a Location Range validator to the first effect

As long as the unit has the ability under the Ability: Abilities - Ability field it can be ordered to use it like the morph for the infested terran eggs. Just use an Issue Order effect
As you only have one get the ability to apply a buff to the target that then uses a search for the minion that orders it to attack the source (buffed unit)

when i said fade i meant fading effect on models, so units not just disappear, or appear, you know some appearing effect mb, but its all not that metter actually, i just can't geth thru this orders issue, can u give me a map example of how its done plz man

btw why when my tank fires theres no actual fire? only animation of guns moving? I used Attack animation in tank's actor.
And uno more question: can i fade units from map in like few seconds instead of just delete them straight?
and can i set minimum range to ability?
And btw can i increase size of circle around sieged tank?
I would advise you to have a look around the editor yourself as well, it will often times fix your issue faster than waiting for a response.

i got one problem, can't insert button over portrait in dialog, priority not working i don't know what to do =(

with call down mule ability, thats how its done
still can't do this orders
If you notice, in the calldown mule creation set, it calls up a persistent which then orders the mule after it lands.
Still alive and kicking, just busy.
