go to triggers, UI- hide ui frame, then hide infopane etc or go to UI editor, add a new layoutfile, find your frames and add visiblity = false and/or alpha = 100.
you also need to create a custom dialog with triggers to have a leaderboard like this, the predefined one is no use for anything.
It's a protected function. You can use a layout file to move the battle UI off-screen, effectively hiding it.
I'd personally not do this. Unless your map is single-player, people will be using that button to talk with their friends. You risk people just outright leaving your game if you remove that button in a multiplayer map.

Just have to say: I'd rather have them leave than allow them to easily cooperate with their friends, in the same game, having conflicting objectives.
Hehe.

Or they will just get highly irritated at your map so open a third party chat system like Skype (which Blizzard has no problem with since it is not interacting with the game and is a respected program) and use that to keep in perfect communication all the time. When will people realise that trying to stop communication in an internet game is virtually impossible.
Anyway a little know feature of SC2 is that practically every UI element is modifiable in run time with triggers. A silly use I found was to make random supply icons since once you hook them with a dialog item you can alter the size, position and image dynamically with triggers.
The main issue with UI stuff in SC2 is the same as all UI stuff. Making a good UI is a real pain and probably like developing an entirely new map from scratch as far as work goes.

Basically I want my UI to look like this
How would I go about doing so? (removing command and info panes, etc)
go to triggers, UI- hide ui frame, then hide infopane etc or go to UI editor, add a new layoutfile, find your frames and add visiblity = false and/or alpha = 100. you also need to create a custom dialog with triggers to have a leaderboard like this, the predefined one is no use for anything.
Im using a dialog to create the leader board already, I'll see what I can do about editing the xml.
I saw that hiding the battle frame wasn't allowed? What's up with that?

Which buttons does the battle frame relate to exactly?
It's called "SocialButton" in the UI editor. It's attached to the "MenuBar" frame.
I hid the console panel and I finally got the result I wanted.
Thanks
