This is my first time here... Let's see if I can get some help on something I've been trying do to for way too long now...
So I got this map where you can pickup grenades on the ground which basically (should) give you one charge of RaynorTossGrenade ability. I've tried many, many things and nothing worked out :/
Shouldn't this line to the trick?
Unit - Add -1.0 charges used for charge (RaynorTossGrenade) on ability Raynor - Toss Grenade on unit Hero
If anyone could help me out with this one, I would be really grateful.
Hi, thanks for the reply. I realize that I might have posted that in the wrong forums section since I want to achieve this via triggers.
I have a trigger on pickup item that execute the command if the item is a grenade. But I did altered the max charge of the ability, can this have any impact? (sorry I'm still noob at this hehe)
I did reset the values to the default ones and tried again but no chance... :/
The ability itself has a field for determining the maximum number of charges the ability can hold at one time. The Catalog type triggers can alter any values an upgrade can on the fly but in your case you want to alter the ability so it can hold enough charges.
Also moved to correct forum.

I copy pasted the command line from their mission file (the mission is THorner05S) and it worked like a charm. The grenade ability now gains a charge everytime I pick a grenade on the ground.

You altered the max charge cap of the ability?
Make sure the Modify Unit effect used to add the charge is targeting the right unit.
