from the beginning. I am farily experienced with triggers, so I offered to help this guy out with a problem. he wants 3 hydras to spawn in a region and move randomly. also, when a non-hydra unit comes in contact with a hydra, it should die. I figured it was fairly simple.... but ive tried several configurations and they all have tons of errors when I try to use it. ill attach my test map
Obviously you need some more "experience"; the issues is your triggering reference in just about every trigger. For several actions your using it for an event that contains no unit information ("triggering" refers explicitly to an event which also must be matching). Your condition too, tho using the reference correctly, is not what you want to use for what your intending. Btw if you really wanted the coding for this could be simplied even further.
if your telling me to change "add (triggering unit) to unit group...." to add (last created unit) to unit group..." it didn't work. that is what I tried to do the first time. I tried it again, and still not working.
That is only part one of the issues. As I said before there are "triggering" references done incorrect in every single trigger (check the conditions in the last trigger as i mentioned). You are also using a dynamic reference in the event of the last trigger (unit must be preplaced).
You should try attaching a search area effect/behavior to the unit, and have the hydra suicide whenever it comes into contact with something (much like a missile)

the last trigger's event is "any unit enters distance of (1.5) from (unit 1/2/3 from (hydra group))
the hydra must be preplaced in order to use this? then what should I use to reference the hydra?
How do you do it if the units was created from a region through a trigger?
