I don't think it is, and google has given me nothing, but thought I would post here to see if anyone has tackled this.
I would like, if possible, to have nydus worms spawned by different players all usable by all allied players, so I could enter with one players worm and exit at another players worm, as long as they are allied.
Looked through the abilities and flags, but I can't see anything which could let me do it sadly. I imagine it would be somewhere in the Load/Unload abilities?
I have absolutely no idea how to make the worms share cargo space, though.
You can easily share a nydus worm with your allies. You just need to modify the load/unload ability of the worm, so that it will accept allies. It works for any unit with a "cargo" ability, so you can also share a tank or an overlord or whatever you'd like as long as the cargo ability allows more than just the player's units.
Unfortunately, I don't know of any way to enter a nydus worm from player A, and exit through a worm from player B. Even if these players are allies, the ability to enter/leave a nydus worm is limited to the same player. Maybe, just maybe, tweaking with the validators (if there are any) would help you override this, and allow nydus worms to be connected all together, but a nydus worm from an enemy player would probably be able to use your own nydus worms as an exit to theirs...
It might also be possible with triggers on the cargo, perhaps. I'll have another look for the ally flag on the load/unload, I tried to find it before and couldn't. Not a great deal of point, though, if I can't find the ability to share entrances.
The only way I could think of was a complicated and messy way with triggers, which duplicated the unit, when it entered, to all the allied networks, and when exiting destroyed the copies. Would need to work out how to share the load/unload commands between players (unless it's an order on the unit itself?), as well.
it's possible to load units with the interact ability (shared control flag) but not to unload in any way. my solution is to give control of the nydus to an allied/shared control player for all players (keep colours and you wont hardly notice). i do that with an dummy effect on creation of the nydus that is registered to an trigger which changes the owner to player 5.
