There are some good tutorial on unit groups, and im sure others can give you more exmaples, heres a quick one, lets say you want to kill 10 units on the map, how do you do this? simply, unit groups =D
First you can make a unit group variable, so hold units so you can check them at any time, or, just make the unit group on the fly like this.
In this example, we pick each unit in a unit group, the unit group we make, is a group of every unit on the map, owned by any player, a max of 10 units. then we kill the picked units =D
Another use could be to make a unit group of all units in region X. then with that unit group, you could use a function "Number of units in unit group" this would tell you how may units are in region X.
These are just two of thousands of uses for them.

I don't really understand these. How do I add units to them and can someone give me an example of why someone would use a unit group?
