This latest patch completely removed the use of ASCII, spaces, and anything but uppercase, lowercase and undscore characters from the naming convention of Functions, Triggers, and Variables.
I for one use language to convey meaning and understanding - and it completely baffles me as to why they took my good thing and thew it in the garbage.
When you have 40 function, 30 variables and 50 functions - prefixing things with asterisk
"** Timer Chain | Give Player Incomes"
Is a million times more "Human Friendly" than
_timerChainGivePlayerIncomes
This is a visual editor Blizzard! The idea that it doesn't appeal "Visually" is like how Windows 8 took the start menu and gave us the finger!
I think I know your problem, I just checked myself and I can still name my triggers with spaces and ascii and stuff. Seems like you've somehow got your Trigger editor set on View Raw Data (Ctrl + D) Just click that off and your names should show properly again. (It's the first orange and black button on the toolbar for the Trigger module, or you can press Ctrl + D)
I'll try that right away thanks :) But just to confirm it's me - can you try File > Save As to test it make sure it doens't transfucate the names of things? Thanks :)
Edit: Yeah it worked, thanks soo much! I don't know how that got enabled. The variables are back to normal.
You're welcome, glad to hear it worked :) Most likely way it got switched on is an accidental keyboard press, like maybe you were copying something and your finger slipped so instead of Ctrl + C it hit Ctrl + D... or something ^_^

Hope that helped!
