ive managed to create the trigger but it doesnt DISABLE the abillity permanently . I could keep constructing the same building and build the hero . I dont want that . I want only one time use and thats it.
Yeah, I don't really know the best way to remove it from the unit entirely, but you could write a second trigger to disable the ability if you build another one of the same building if you have already used the ability. What kind of ability is it though?
If it is a construction/research ability, you can set a requirement on the individual actions of the ability for use/show to say count(Unit Name) Completed < 1.

I am trying to do this . make a trigger that activates when you train X hero and disallows the ability that allows the construction of that hero.

Event - Ability progress reaches - Completion
Actions - Hide Ability - Triggering Progress Ability from - Triggering Unit
You could alternatively disable to ability, but hide not only makes it not usable, but actually removes it from the command card.

That was not the Action I was thinking of. There is an action that disables an ability for a unit, and not a player (It is not a tech tree action)
