My plan was to use it in my campaign, as units are speaking it would look like a comic book. I cant do voice acting, but painting the speach-bubble background is easy :::)
I think you're misunderstanding. This particular contest is for Terrain related submissions only. We'll have seperate contests for data, triggering and UI related submissions.
No I understand. But I would like to make a suggestion for the data contest.
As opposed to simply holding a contest to see who can make the flashiest data asset. You can make a contest concerning who can make the best BLIZZARD DOTA LIKE HERO. Set criteria for creating a hero and judge the contest based upon the practical functionality of the hero and how their abilities synergize.
Then you can have a contest concerning who can make the most unique DOTA style terrain...
Then you can have a contest for the best Dota style UI
After everything is sorted out, and with a little help from a few people to combine the assets together.. SHAZZAM:
SC2MAPSTER DOTA. :3 Naturally submissions will have to be submitted with a MOD File to facilitate the process.
Hehehehe, cute one, liked it, reminded me of Celestial Irruption, a Brood War campaign I played eons ago. Reminds the dream scene, I mean.
But, seriously, the purple dirt could use some more work, maybe putting a litle bit of brown or green dirt or even those tree veins. Just to vary it a bit.
Right now it's just a bunch of doodads smashed together, though, with data knowledge that I clearly do not have, you could probably combine them all into an actor, in which case your idea would very much be possible.

Still, not bad. Although I must criticize this truck's turret actually reminds me more of the GLA Technicals in C&C: Generals. Not bad, though, I've told.
I'm not sure how to do this because my "assets" are the mod compilations of all the exported models. They're on BNET because they're mods.. I guess I could upload the custom tilesets?
