Hi all, I'm trying to come to gripes with triggers and can't find a trigger that adds resources (minerals in this case) to the player that kills a specific unit (yes I know the second part would be a event.)
Specificly what I'm trying to do is anytime a zerg unit is killed by player 1, I want player 1 to gain 1 mineral resource.
Eventually I want it to be where each zerg unit killed gives the player a zerg head (custom resource.)
Alternatively (I just thought of this) would it be easier to set up a scoreboard and display "zerg heads"
Then create a script/trigger that adds a zerg head to the scoreboard of player 1 each time a zerg is killed by said player? I would assume that would be much easier.
However these zerg heads will also be used for abilities (such as building units.) Is it possible to subtract from the scoreboard when a specific ability is called as well as create different values to be subtracted dependent on the ability?

In the Data editor units have a "(none) - Kill resource" field. Whenever you kill a unit, the killing player is rewarded with the resources specified in this field.
