I am trying to make a attack that fires in line damage (similar to Hellion) but would like it to be the marauder attack effect, then I need to slow down the attack, giving units the chance to dodge.
So, like you said in your first post change the hellion attack to have the marauder effects you want. Change the duration and damage to what you want them to be. I don't really get what you need help with. Do you need someone to spell out exactly how to modify a weapon and its effects?
EDIT: Just reread the first post, don't exactly know a way to make the attack reach the unit slower so I wouldnt be able to help you with that. It may be something you can change in the effect though.
It wont let me. When editing the Marauders weapon (punish er grenades) There are the two things you suggested to change. I changed its damage to be the hellions, and left the effect like it was. When i ran the test game, the damage stayed like the normal marauders, even though it showed the amount I had changed the hellions to. So of course for the sake of testing things i changed the effect of the marauders attack to be a hellions effect, and it worked.
I just need a Spell for an archery tactics map that lets the "arrow" let lose in line damage. If anyone knows how to do this albeit through triggers or data please help me out.
