1. For the life of me.. I created a timer and can't get it to work... it's always stuck at zero no matter how I set it up.
I created a timer as a one shot timer that expires in 300 seconds of real time... never works. The window shows but the timer is always at 0:00:00
2. Does anyone know of any tutorials that teach you how to make a custom missile ability? (not attack)
A custom missile ability will be almost exactly the same as custom missile weapon. The only difference is you have to call the initial effect using an ability instead of a weapon. This works the opposite way as well. You can make a weapon use an ability (like a psi-storm gun, or a yamato cannon cannon).
Quick example: Marauders use a "Marauder - Punisher Grenades (Launch Missile)" effect when firing their weapons. So, you can create an ability (target) that calls the same effect.

Shawn. I have no idea how to do that.. are there any tutorials on how to set that up? I'm pretty good with triggers but once it comes to variables and numbers I'm totally screwed unless I have someone holding my hand through it. :(
Also I have one more question. I need to make a unit permanently selected... ive tried doing it with triggers but I guess i need a variable there too.. anyone know how to do that?
