I am currently working on a mod, with which I have a couple of air transports. I was wondering if it was possible to limit how many of a certain unit type could be allowed in the cargo space. for example 8 Cargo space on transport, with only 2 slots for robotic an 1 slot for mechanical. Or even a simpler version. I know I can set it so that it won't allow certain unit types, but I want to basically allow a small vehcile in the transport as well as troops, just don't want it to become a vehicle transport instead. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
A sort of ugly workaround would be to check what units are loaded into the transport and simply unload / reload it instantly, excluding the unit you don't want. I did a similar thing to a bunker and you actually didn't even see the units that jumped out and then back in. A transport might not work as neatly since they unload one unit at a time.
I suppose you could use the above and have it still work. The problem with the one unit at a time thing is moot since you can set the medivac to load/unload instantly.
The only other thing I can thing of atm is just duplicating the load/unload ability and then making one for robotic, one for mechanical, and one for the troops.

Assuming it's acceptable to have the transport unload instantly. Or maybe you can change this temporarily during the quick loads, dunno.
