I'm having an issue with revealing a large area of 120 on the map, for some reason there seems to be a specific limit. I've tried doing it through both triggers and in the data editor but I can't seem to get that big of a region to reveal.
I have a structure that is supposed to periodically reveal an area with a size of 120 around it, no problem with the periodic reveal, however it can't seem to reveal that exact size, there seems to be a limit to the size of the area the effect can reveal. I also tried to reveal the area via a trigger that would activate whenever the ability was used as so.
Visibility - Reveal (Region((Center of Region 001), 120.0)) for player 1 for 2.0 seconds and Do Not check cliff level
This didn't work either, it was also limited the same way the effect was (which I'm going to guess is around the size of 30-40.)
I'll try revealing a region that is the proper size and get back to you, hope that explanation was a bit better than before.
I know this happens when you attach a region to a unit, but I guess it just happens in general.
If you don't care about cliffs and just want to reveal the entire area. Then what you can do is inside that region add another circle to that region. I just made a bunch of radius of 20 circles and put them all over the place. Like if you think of a 3 by 3 grid. I put one in each slot. It came out bubbly so in the cracks I added more to make it more rounded. The same can be done with squares and is easier. However if your checking for cliff height, it doesn't check the cliff height.

?? just make region 001 to a big circle. I've got very large regions revealed on my map. Try to create a permanent revealer and destroy it after 2 seconds.
I know this is a necro, but I am having this same issue now. I am trying to reveal a circular region of radius 60, and yet it only reveals one of radius around 32. I've tried Reveal Area, creating a Revealer as a variable, and using both preset regions and regions created around points. None of it fixes the issue.

Nah I don't care about cliffs or anything, it's meant to reveal just a massive area around the structure.
Also I tested it via trigger where it would reveal a region with the proper size, it wouldn't reveal the entire region.
You tried adding multiple circles to that region right? It had worked for me, hmm :/.

Use "reveal area" with a non-circular region.
