I am basically trying to rotate the actor for the Terran Drop Pod to have the pod drop (relatively) vertically onto the area it is targetted at.
Actors are a bit of a major weakness of mine so far with the SC2Editor so please excuse me if I don't understand something when your giving me an explanation, but all help is greatly appreciated!
I've already messed with a few SOp actors but I can't get them to do what I want at all >_< my lack of knowledge with actors gets me only that far lol.
I am having the EXACT same issue, except that that builders can only build additional "Refineries" on top of it if it is still under construction, once it is complete you can't do this anymore.
Actually it's perfectly normal. Build animations for terran structures consist of two models - the scaffolding and the building itself. Take a close look at the construction animations for any terran building and you'll see what I mean. The problem you're having is that the scaffolding model is not appearing. This is also known as the "build" actor and if you look at any building actors you'll see that it's created when construction starts.
No the animation when the building is under construction is perfectly fine, just for some reason when the structure is built by a certain unit the building will disappear for the 23.8 seconds AFTER it is built.
My map is supposed to run as FFA in the lobby by default, but if I join it from the custom games list there seems to be a team of 3 and a team of 1, the only way it can be FFA is if the host drags the other 3 people onto the New Team slot.
If I create the game myself however it shows as FFA properly, what would cause this?
It seems to only occur when a my ACU (Your main builder in the map) builds those 2 structures, all other structures built by it do not have this bug, and building these 2 structures by other units does not cause the bug.
There seems to a very odd glitch in my map Supreme Commander map, the models for the T1 Air and Land Factories (Effectively they are just the Terran Factory and Starport) seem to dissapear for about 23.8 seconds once the building finishes construction, after 23.8 seconds they reappear coming up from the ground.
The way they appear it seems like its an actor glitch with the construction somewhere but I haven't been able to pinpoint what exactly is causing it. Any ideas?

Is it possible at all to allow units/structures revealed by a radar ability (Sensor Tower) to be attacked while still hidden from the fog of war?
