I was wanting to make a map where a unit will move to the location of the mouse. But as far as I can tell you can not get the location of the mouse with out a click event.
you can try to 'fake' it by using a mouse view, this can be done in a 3d, or a top down 2d. then make your unit move / aim in unison with its relation to the point of the camera target of current player. so to continue to get an aiming system or something down in relation to the mouse you need to play with your camera settings until the center of your camera target can act how you are wanting to make it maniupulate into 'faking' it.
The problem with that is, however, that the camera always follows the mouse. So basically you're not moving the mouse anymore, but only the camera ^.^
But that's the best thing you can do (if that satisfies you), because right now there's no other way to do so.
