The Name and Description fields under Game Variants appear to have broken in the patch. All these now show as 'other', thus impossible to distinguish between multiple game modes of a map if the modes have equivalent team/player settings.
This is no real Editor change, but relevant for the mapping community, so..
games actually end now correctly, if youfinish a game.
means after the game finishes, in defeat or win or whatever, you go to the scorescreen after you clicked to end the game - no need to do it manually after that again.
I'm a GUI SC2 scripter, so I noticed a change in that area:
1) Create a new function/action
2) Add a new parameter
3) Change the parameter to type 'File'
4) You can now drill down to new file types through the GUI such as flash animations, etc. Before it was just a few different types.
don't know if it really is a change but I noticed when setting the, game Variants - game type - Category and Mode set to Other, the name you specify won't show in game anymore.
It just shows Other in the game join list. Also when creating the game it doesn't show the custom name as it used to.
Well, terrain editor crashes for me too, rest works fine :(
It shows terrain fine in the minimap of terrain editor, but the viewport thingie is all black and freezes
Is there any way to open the editor without opening the terrain module? It is the first thing to load for me, and it crashes immediately after opening...
EDIT: The SC2 Bug Report Forums indicate that atleast four other people are having this issue, so it's not an isolated incident.
Well, replacing the SC2Editor.exe in SC2Beta\Support\ with one with a fully working editor worked for me. Ask someone in irc to upload it, i also upload mine currently which is working.
You can change Startup settings in File->Preferences->Startup :) I advice using Module Launcher let's you choose your wanted module to start with which is kinda neat
added zip-archive containing the SC2Editor.exe from Patch14 - so, make sure you do a backup of your currently not working one

Except that version of the editor there is 0.16. Not 0.17. You're just rolling back the editor and not actually solving the real problem. I'm much rather have a hot fix than a roll back.
Edit: I just tried to replace the SC2Editor.exe with Xhati's, and it still gives me an error: "Unable to load: 'EditorData/EditorFiles.xml' Core: Could not be found. :(

Mouse is no longer hidden and locked to the camera center, after using Camera Follow Unit Group
Did they change something about published map? I found my user and map deleted and I needed to republish it. Maybe they fixed something...
@Bibendus: Go They wiped Battle.net when Patch 15 came out, yes.
I don't know if this was just me but I am no longer able to open the editor as of Patch 15.

I hope they fix this before Beta ends, otherwise, I won't get to edit maps! :(

hmm yea didn't noticed that it was actually the p14 one :P - your bug might require complete reinstall :/
That worked! It took me a loooong time because of patch 9 but it worked!
