SUGGESTED GAMES
We know how vital it is for new games to be able to gain exposure, rather than always being hidden behind a dominant lineup of popular titles. The Suggested Games list includes a wide variety of games that are trending upwards and receiving positive votes from players. The selection will change every 30 minutes, presenting everyone in the community with the same 15 games at any given time, making it easy for all matches to fill quickly.
Once you've created your mod and put it online, how do players choose lobby / match making with dota2 custom?
I'd be interested to see how the gameplay programming / scripting works for dota 2 tools. I couldn't stand the lack of good documentation and non-breaking API for the Starcraft 2 actor system.
I went a few years ago in 2011. There was a map panel that was cool, it looked like they were meeting with people after the panel too to discuss stuff.
I liked the campaign mission gameplay. I could tell they pulled a lot of mechanics and things from the community (boss battles). Other missions were completely original gameplay inspired by pop culture such as infesting the Protoss ship (alien anyone?). I chuckled when the camera zoomed out as the brood queen grew like in power level overwhelming. I felt like I was playing 'altered beast' on zerus with the Kerrigan dash and jump abilities and constantly powering up into a new evolution.
I would.... for the love of god pay someone to write better search algorithms.
If they wanted any possibility of making a better profit off sc2mapster.... search functionality to actually find useful information should be the number 1 priority. Its like the biggest complaint all around the forums is that people cant ever find anything relevant because the search is absolutely fucking garbage.
I could probably write better search functionality into the site in a matter of days. Hell I'd do it for free, considering the amount of time it would save me from searching in the long run.
Use google, but specify sc2mapter.com as the site.
Example search:
site:sc2mapster.com "actor tutorial"
Thanks. I'm up for suggestions on w/e and music. I was hoping it would at least get people to look at the arcade page. People have short attention spans so most won't even read text in a video?

I wish they would refer to it as data extracting and not data mining.

I supported this, I hope it works out.
