Seems you are trying to launch the target unit to itself. You are using a Launch Missile effect to knock the unit back but the launch location and impact location are the same. You need a Create Persistent effect with an offset before the Launch Missile effect so the Target Unit is launched to the Target Point.

Found the problem your validators used by the Launch Missile effect are set incorrectly. The validators both use an effect to determine the target and it is looking for the original effect tree and not your copied one.

I'm trying to make Knockback missile.
I searched thread, and they said "consult the 'KD8'"
So I copied abil "KD8".
But Knockback in not working...

Why do I have to Create Persistent?
I just copied KD8, everything is same.
If I have to Create Persistent , the original KD8 should be woking same as copied KD8 But it' not.
I want to know why original KD8 is working and why copied KD8 is not working.
