I based an item on Medikit. Is there a way to remove the Attack ability of the items (unit)? I tried deleting some attack related ActorEvents but the ability still appears.
Have you tried removing the Attack Ability FROM the Unit's Ability command card and Ability list?
If you want the med-kit to prevent attack from being used(Such as an Item), use a requirement(Or was it Validator?) that hides the attack ability when the med-kit item is equipped.
Actors are purely visuals. As stated above you need to remove the ability from the Ability - Abilities - Ability field of the item unit under the Units data type.

All default Unit-Items such as Medikit, spider mines, my duplicate of it, some others have the Attack ability and their command cart is empty, there are also no abilities listed in the field above the command cart where you can add abilities. And have you done that, removing the item? Because ALL units have this Attack ability/
I dont have issues, this Attack ability is ONLY in the editor appearing in the tree under the Unit was just asking if it is removable. Was just asking if this dummy ability can be removed in the editor as it appears on all items

The cause was probably a one day thing. The editor is kind of... awkward...
One day when I was using the editor, my lighting just faded and turned black. The next day after a reset, it fixed itself but all my triggers duplicated.
Where do I remove these? I duplicated a Medivac Unit and main Actor to make a custom Transport unit without any of these extra actors and yet now I cannot remove these actors. They are used for the Medivac as well, so I dont want to modify or delete things in them, I just need to detach them from my custom unit..
They create lots of abilities that Idk why are there: Load Overlord, Load Special Ops Dropship, Load Warp Prism, some Load/Unload sounds that are removed from these actors but I cant remove the actors themselves and they are attache to the Medivac which I also use so I just need them unlinked frm the custom unit
If you mean removing Overlord.Warp Prism, Special Ops Transport abilities yes they are removed from the ActorEvents of the three Actors I mentioned above. But like I said, these 3 actors above are also used for Medivac and if I delete events im deleting them for the medivac as well, and I dont want to touch any actors who are used by Medivac as well.
As my question was how to unlink these 3 actors from my custom unit, not the abilities created by their events, Next time maybe I need to duplicate these 3 actors to make sure if I delete them I am not deleting things used by the medivac, as there is no other way to unlink these 3 actors right?
Well unless you show me a pic of how the actor is linked via the Explain Link feature of the Object Explorer or upload your map I cannot say since you are not giving me all the information needed.

Just make a duplicate of the Medivac and copy only the unit and main actor, I deleted/UNLINKED its Yes, Help, Attack, Move Sounds (which doesnt matter) I deleted the ability Heal Beam from the Command Card and 'Abilities' -> 'Ability' as well as any related ActorEvents to the Heal. Because even if you Duplicate the unit, some ActorEvents are still linked to the original Medivac and from ActorEvents by changing the Unti to be not the Medivac but the new Duplicated unit, now only the Duplicated unit is connected to all this. Having done those, and you will get to the same case.
I want to unlink the two Upgrades, Story Mode Tech - Medvic ... and the 3 Actors above. If the 3 actors are not connected to the duplicated unit, the abilities created by them should be automatically gone too.
If I do this, I will change it for Medivac as well, Ok I will just know in the future to duplicate these fields - upgrades and the 3 actors and then I can delete from the data easily without touching anything to the Medivac. Thanks for the help
For a start you seem not to understand actors. Actors are purely visual and sound. What is happening is when those abilities are used the actor is created not the other way round.
Those upgrades you want to get rid of are also ability specific. Just use a different Transport ability that is new and one of your own creation and you wont have any of these problems.
Infact on your modified dominion transportation ship you seem to have given the unit in the units data type alot of extra abilities.
I've always considered Actors to be in the center of everything, as to them you can assign the unit, its sounds, models, abilities created from events etc. But you are right - I duplicate Medivac - Load-Unload ability and on the Duplicate window I also saw all these events, abilities, upgrades attached to the ability. After I duplicate just the ability, I get only Load (Medivac) and Unload (Medivacs) Buttons with no actors, sounds, Command Center, Overlord, Warp Prism, Dropship etc abilities.
So I didn't add any 'extra' abilities all these Overlord, Bunker etc are all attached to the Medivac - Load-Unload and removing the Medivac Load-Unload removes all other abilities, actors, uprades, etc. Also in order to remove it, I had to make sure not just add the duplicated ability in Abilities box but also select my new custom ability on Load (Medivac) and Unload (Medivacs) on the Command Card. With this done the Medivac Load-Unload that held all these links disappeared together. So it's now solved thanks :)

Just right click it in the object explorer and click the explain link button. That should show you where to look.

Yeah and when I duplicated Medivac there are lots of other items I want to remove frm the editor:

They are created by the Transport abilities. just remove your ability from the events.
