I wish to create an ability where a rocket could be fired from an vehicle turret.
The intention is to make the Armored Personnel Carrier fire a rocket/missile from his turret to break wreckages, rocks and etc, from his way.
I have no clue about how to make the missile being fired from the turret, when I try it, the missile come from inside the APC.
Also, to fill the ability to be used only on wreckages or stone piles, I just need to mark the 'building/armored' box in the fillers, right?
@edit also, when I use the ability, the entire APC changes face to the ability target, by making it being fired from the turret, I want the APC to keep the face.
It's possible to make the ability to be used while the APC moves? I would prefer it to dont stop each time you use the ability.
however, unless blizzard has fixed this problem since a few months ago, the only way to reliably make a turret face the target of an attack is if the attack is fired from a weapon. With abilities, the turret will keep its current facing, even if the missile is properly coming from the turret.

I had an idea, but dont know if its possible: make somehow the turret be always facing the APC front, unless it's firing, or maybe modify/add a effect for the turret to face the front when using the ability

Find the model for the APC in the model previewer, and look at its attachment points. Find the one relating to its turret.
Go to the attack action actor for your missile weapon. Set the launch attachment to the attachment point.
Make sure the missile actor is set to the actor for the missile in the attack action actor.

Maybe you could make it a weapon instead of an ability, and use an ability to turn the weapon on and off.
