i have no idea how to achieve this i ran into the same problem many people on this site talk about. like data problems. i dont care if he bursts out of the ground like the ultralisk i just want him to come out of the ground when the wizards casts the spell to summon him. i was going to have like a minaturized group of 5 to spawn. right now i have the infester spell in him "infested terran and i changed the egg to a boulder but i think that coming out of the ground is more realistic. i really want this and help me please!
1. make the height of the unit negative, so the unit is below the ground by default
2. add a behavior to the unit's default behaviors that with 1 effect that is executed, if the behavior starts. The behavior can also disable movement/attack/sight for a short duration like 1 second.
3. The effect the behavior executes has to raise the unit's height to the default level within the time span of 1 second.
Couldn't you just duplicate a unit that is capable of burrowing and then swap out the models?

I would say the easiest way is to set the height of the unit low at unit birth, then set it back to normal over the period of time you want the unit to raise itself. Then create a dust cloud or something upon unit birth as well.

No, because I don't think the Stone Zealot has a burrow model or unburrow animation. That would make this a lot easier.
