Simple question. Is there any way to change a unit's attack cooldown with the editor? It's a simple thing to change, so I'd think there should be, but I can't find any documentation as to how.
Just to be clear, attack cooldown is different from attack speed (which I know can be changed with the stats:period value), because I don't want the attack animation speed to be affected. Attack cooldown is the time interval between which a unit attacks, and is often used to kite. Every unit has this, though it's most apparent on a unit like the roach which has a very long attack cooldown.
Still not sure what the differnce is between attack speed an cooldown. Please explain, because your example doesn't make sense and then maybe I can help...
Yeah, actually, after messing around with the editor a bit more I've realized that I was completely overthinking things and that the period value in fact does exactly what I need it to do. Thanks anyway.

I don't believe changing the attack speed will alter the animation, the only change it will do is how often the animation is played/run.
