I have an ability that makes the unit "Jump", and it works fine. However, if the unit dies while doing that, it won't let you revive because it tries to finish the ability and it never will. In my map the unit doesn't die it just becomes incapacitated when it should have died and then you use a respawn ability to revive it. I tried to make a trigger to lower the unit back to the ground and to try to disable and destroy the ability when the unit is incapacitated, and it did make it go back to ground level, but the unit still could not respawn because it is still trying to finish the ability. How do I fix this?
There is already an effect pre-made for it that I'm using. It's called Test Zerg LM. Then I attached that to an attack ability I made so that it jumps to the target point when it attacks. The ability works just fine, it's only when the unit dies and becomes incapacitated that it interrupts the ability in the middle so it just keeps trying to finish it. This causes it not to let me use the revive ability since when the unit is incapacitated, it cannot move or use abilities except for the revive ability so the jump can never finish.
I tried validators, requirements, and removing the pausable phases on the ability and incapacitated behavior and still nothing works. How can I enable a specific ability for the buff that disables abilities.
Oh, I didn't realize it was that easy. However, it still doesn't work. The ability is enabled now, but the unit is immobile because it is supposed to be dead, so it still cant finish the jump because it can't move. I can't just make it able to move because then it could just go around attacking things while it is dead and invulnerable.

Ok going to need details of your jump ability. I assume it is not based on that of the hunterlings.

Then you will need to alter it so that that specific ability is enabled by the incapacitate buff.

You will have to alter your death prevention buff then so it is only applied after the jump ends.
