Maybe there is a field within the area effect. Set that to a lower number (lower than 360) and it should work, I hope. I'm not sure about the backward part, though.

sorry im not sure what your trying to do.
you want a sentry shield that only effects units with in a certain angle of the caster unit??

but, I tried that your answer. then, the area effect direction was static regardless of caster unit's direction
Picture3 is that the dgree number set to 90. problem is that area effect is static
But, I have another idea that adds actor to cast unit's backward far. and I will adds shield effect to that actor I'll try it
p.s. I'm korean :) my galaxy tool's language hasn't English.... so terrible, hard making MAP

You could probable set the sentry search area size 1-2-3 and offset it behind your unité The thign I'm unsure is if the search area will follow accordingly if target turn around.
