So I exported an animated mesh with 1 animation sequence named "Walk" i changed an ultralisks model to the new model but how would i set it to where it would animate the walk sequence when he moves? currently the units model is static. any ideas?
I'm not quite sure I understand your question but I'll give it a shot:
If you have the model animated you can, in 3ds max, scroll the timebar along the frames and watch your model animate (specifically the walking part). Take note of the first frame number where the animation starts and the last one. Now in the m3 sequences plug in you add your "Walk" animation and it will have two boxes (actually more but two of them are the only ones that matter right now) "Start frame" and "Finish Frame" or something along those lines. What you do is simply enter the start frame number and the ending frame number and the M3 sequences plug in will know that within that range of frames the walking animation is done. Make sure that you check "loop" since it's a walking animation you're going to want it loop otherwise it'll just play once and wait for the unit to stop and move again to play it another time.
Just save your M3 sequence, I think it autosaves, and export your model and it should be done. Whenever you move your unit it should just use the animation you specified in the custom model.

Im pretty sure im doing all of that correctly. Are there no settings that have to be made in the data module of the editor?
