In my map, workers who gather minerals from a mineral patch do not need to return to a Command center. The minerals gathered are immediately added to the players bank. So workers can stand and work at the same mineral patch without having to leave it. Just as Wisps work in Warcraft 3.
When a "boss" comes near the workers, it adds a buff to them which makes them harvest minerals faster. The boss has a search area effect that applies a behavior that increases the time scale. This works fine.
The problem is that a lot of other factors are affected by the time scale increase - workers move, attack, regenerate, repair faster. If they gain other buffs, those buffs lasts a shorter time and so on. Many unintended consequenses.
Any idea how to make a buff increase ONLY the harvest time of workers, without affecting other time values?

Perhaps this must be done via triggers?
Try the Resource: Modification - Resource Harvest Time Multiplier field? Else use validators that only units using the ability are affected.
