I have built an ability that launches a missile. When a unit uses the ability, the missile travels ON the ground. It looks very weird. Ideally, the missile should fly a bit above the ground. Just as it looks when an Infestor shoots Fungal Growth, or when a Ghost shoots EMP. The missile is in the air.
I know that the Launch Attachment Query+ in the ability Action-actor is the field that determines where the missile should be launched from. Regardless of what I do, the missile is still launched from the feet and travels on the ground.
I have looked at other threads here on Sc2mapster and tried their solutions, but for some reason the problem still remains for me.
Would anyone mind to take a look at my attached test map?
Thanks, but that is what I have been doing. No matter what I add in Combat: Launch Attachment Query, the missile is still only launched from the feet and travels on the ground.
Maybe the missile specified in the missile actor is not the same as the one in the action actor. Or if your unit doesn't have the attachment point the action actor uses.

The ability is called "Blast"

The issue is probably in the missile launch site. In the missile's actin actor add a relevant method to the Combat: Launch Attachment Query box.

Any idea what might cause that?

Thank you! The missile was indeed the problem - it was not properly linked to the Action actor!
