I've noticed im able to build things while missing a decent amount of resource. i usually notice this when a player leaves, but im sure it happens even if a team mate hasnt left.
I have the option to disable resource split on leave, but is there a trigger that im missing that doesn't allow you to build something if your a little short?
I dont know what it is but ive been experiencing something like this.
In my map whenever a teammate leaves his minerals should be added to the remaining team, since the arcade beta whenever someone leaves i get nothing but if i have 0 minerals and keep buying stuff it uses the teammates left over minerals, very strange
after doing some testing, i had the other team who didn't have a single team mate leave (however they were 2 out of 4 people) experience this. What i figure it being is i have triggers giving resources to all players every so often, and it would give those players resources even if they were not in game. Though it wouldn't split the resources, i assume it would allow you to dip into the absent team mate's resource pool.
What i've done to possible fix this:
1) I've added an if/then/else trigger to the resource gain from triggers to give only if the player is playing.
2) I've added a "Check" trigger which checks if a player has left, and to set all his resources to 0.
Il do some testing, and i'l let you know if that does the trick.
So i can confirm that it is in fact floating resources from a leaving player. Anyone in game can dip into these resources, regardless if allied or not. What i posted does not prevent this from happening. What is a fix to this problem?
