And before you say it, I know about the pack on this very site. Unfortunately that pack is beyond worthless since you can only use a single texture, and last I checked not every single planet in the universe is Earth. So is there a planet pack with differing textures? At most I'd need a terrestial, barren, and gas giant.
P.S. Not in requests cuz I'm not requesting someone to make them for me.... then again I'm requesting for information on them... oh well, can be moved if mods deem this a request.
It does have a couple planet models actually. Stuff you see in the sky and such. There was a thread that show'd some of them in the artist tavern but i cant find the topic.
We need better search functionality....

somebody should make some of those planets in the pack for more textures. That shouldnt be harder than exporting models from wow, if you have the correct program for it.
I doubt the skyboxes from WoW would work. But I agree with Hookah, we need someone to take that pack and allow you to use as many textures as you want. It's a shame to have a MASSIVE pack with all your planet needs, and then you can't use any of it.
Ah what I was talking about werent skybox's. they are actualy celestial body models that wow places in the sky from my understanding meh...
all you really need is for somebody to make a texture for you ... that you can apply to the "shapesphere" model.
Yeah, I know, that's what I did with that planetary model pack. But I am incapable of getting such things done, so I'm curious if somebody else already has.
Protip: Taking the sphere model, tinting a color, and cranking the HDR to 100 gives you a fantastic sun.
How did you get them solid colors? Mine are always pure white with their outer-shell being the proper color. Looks badass, but for stars such as my orange dwarf, it's a little lack-luster.
Hookah, Programer pointed out to me that the editor already has planet models in it. Under models, look for 'Planet Icon' and then the planet, so like 'Planet Icon Haven'. The only downside with these planets is there aren't any gas giants, so we'd still need someone to make those. And the model offset is off. For example, if you use Planet Icon Haven, the planet model will be on the rim of the selection circle when you click it. So we'd also need to find out how to move the model into the correct place.
P.S. When I make my suns, I set their tint and give them an HDR of 100 lol, maybe that's why they have a white core?

I would suggest looking into some of the wow models. .
if you have wow installed on your computer you can use the wow model viewer to extract them and then import them into your map.
WoW doesn't have planets o_o

@Colt556: Go Actor - Send message (Set Tint Color (x) with HDR (5+) over 0.0 seconds) to actor (Actor for (Last created unit))
any one can help us out here: http://www.sc2mapster.com/assets/planet-package/ check the comments on the package. Basically we would like to use more planet models at once.
