Hey, guys. I participated in the beta for SC2 and since then I had been hoping that someone would make a map that was much like the Heaven vs Hell series for WC3. I am sure some of you have played it, but in case you don't know what it is, here's a brief explanation:
You would start off and pick a hero (derp) lots of them could be funny characters like crabs or spiders or other critters (I remember playing The Virgin Mary most of the time early game) then you would spawn in the middle with your team and the enemy team and either fight or run, then respawn at your side of the world (left or right). You could choose a different hero at any time in the game, but the most creative part was that certain stronger enemies yielded items that would allow you to transform into the same creature. The games could last hours due to the fact that they were chock-full of "easter egg" heroes and different item combination's.
I don't know if I'm supposed to request maps to be created here, but I would love to see it in the world of Starcraft 2.
The concept is nice. It reminds me vaguely of a sorceror-style map (also from WC3), where one had to combine up to three runes to create spells for his hero to cast. I.e. you pick up fire-fire-water and you'd get healing wave, whereas nature-fire-water gave you a heal-over-time spell and fire-water-fire gave you something different yet again. It was a map that really promoted creativity and it took the average player about a week to discover all combinations.

If I had any map-making expertise whatsoever I would go at it by myself, but I'm afraid the end result would be atrocious.
